Polocrosse is coming soon to Moores Farm Corse Lawn.

Polocrosse is a team game played on horseback and is a combination of polo and lacrosse, the object being to score goals. It is suitable for any pony club member from lead rein upwards. When played at the higher levels it is a very fast, skilful and exciting game. Although we will start training indoors, when it gets a bit warmer and drier we aim to move outside to Gadbury.

The Ledbury Pony Club used to hold regular polocrosse training at Corse Lawn and had many members who both played for fun and in tournaments. We have not done this for a number of years but I aim to restart this in the next few weeks. Training will be split into groups depending on age and riding ability, lead rein are very welcome, (lead rein games are great fun! ) More experienced riders should progress quickly as we have some great trainers lined up and there are a number of pony club tournaments in the summer to aim for.

All you will need is yourself and your horse, we will provide sticks and balls, although when you get going and you will soon get hooked, you will probably want to buy your own.
If you are interested please telephone me:

Jan Whitehead on 01452 730352 or mob 07789 967065

If you are concerned about bringing your horse come on foot the first time to see what its all about, but its much more fun to ride.

Training will be on Sunday mornings ( not too early) at Corse Lawn starting in the next few weeks. Please ring me sooner rather than later so I get an idea of who is interested and can organise the groups.
