Inter-branch Quiz
We are hosting an inter-branch quiz at Corse Village Hall on Friday 19th November starting at 6.30pm. Please let Sue Clements know if you are interested in taking part. Alternatively please feel free to support the teams and find out what it is all about – then you could have a go next time.
Annual Christmas Show Jumping
We have extended the very successful Christmas Show to 2 days this year – Saturday 4th December and Sunday 5th December at Hartpury College. The Saturday is dedicated to the Juniors, with the Seniors on Sunday. This should provide competitors with a rider range of classes and hopefully a slightly earlier finish on Sunday than we have had. Links to the schedules below
We do need a range of help to support this event.
· Friday 3rd December at 17:00 – Help with setting up the course
· Saturday 4th December – Help from Senior members and parents throughout the day while the Juniors compete
· Sunday 5th December – Help from Junior members and parents throughout the day while the Seniors compete
· Catering – Any assistance with the catering for helpers and officials before and during the event will be greatly appreciated.
Please contact Jan Whitehead 01452 730352 if you can help

Pony Club at Cheltenham Races
Cheltenham Racecourse will again be running a Pony Club Day at their New Years Day meeting on Saturday 1st January. National Hunt Rooms 1 and 2 will be reserved exclusively for Pony Club members taking up the offer. These rooms provide a good view of the course and the paddock as well as a bar, catering and Tote facilities. The itinerary will be confirmed, but has in the past included a guided tour behind the scenes before racing. It is only available to members who have purchased tickets in advance (closing date 10th December) – application forms from Audrey Brewer
U18's are free, 18-24 year olds £20, Adults £22
Pony Club Competitions
There is a wide range of competitions organised throughout the year across the various disciplines. These start with various competitions organised by branches through to the Area competitions which can lead to qualification to the National Championships. We will be providing information at the Presentation Evening and Annual Meeting in January to help to explain the various levels of competition across the disciplines and answering questions.
Now is the time to start thinking about your goals for 2011. To help with this, we will be starting schooling and training sessions across a number of disciplines covering a range of ages. Please can you let us know if you are interested in any of the disciplines or the schooling and training sessions.
The list below details the team managers for 2011. Please contact the team managers about training and competitions.
Swimming Practice
We organise swimming practice at Tewkesbury School every Tuesday evening at 7.30 p.m. This is open to all members of the branch whether they wish to compete in Tetrathlon Competitions or not. Please contact Hilary Barfoot-Saunt for further details
