Polocrosse Information

POLOCROSSE  is an exciting, fast growing, team game played on horseback. A combination of polo and lacrosse, the rider holds a stick with an attached loose thread net the size of a squash racquet in which a soft rubber ball is carried. This ball can be caught in the air, scooped up off the ground, bounced and thrown to team mates all with the aim of scoring goals. Polocrosse is ideally played outside on a flat field, the pitch being 160yds long and 60yds wide, but in winter can be played on an arena and winter training is generally indoors.

The game is suitable for riders of all abilities from complete beginners (lead rein polocrosse)   to experienced riders. Although at top level the horses tend to be under 15.2 , quick and very agile, polocrosse can be played at any level on any horse, ranging from the family pony to dads
It is a fun, sociable team game for ordinary children on ordinary ponies and encourages a strong and unselfish team spirit, courage and all round riding ability.

If you can ride you can play polocrosse!!
